Tom Chase is Chairman of Insurors Financial Corp. and its subsidiaries, Insurors Indemnity Company, Insurors Indemnity Lloyds and Insurors Indemnity Underwriters.
Tom began his insurance career in 1972 with the predecessor of Insurors of Texas General Agency, having previously practiced law with Naman, Howell, Smith and Lee in Waco, Texas.
A graduate of the University Of Texas School Of Law in Austin, he holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence with Honors degree and was a member of Phi Delta Phi and Order of Coif. He has a BA from Vanderbilt University. Tom has earned the designations of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) and Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB). He is a past President (1981) and Director (1979 - 1982) of The Independent Insurance Agents of Central Texas.
Tom serves on committees of numerous civic organizations and is a member of the board of directors of Central National Bank and the Brazos Higher Education Authority.
Tom and his wife, Penny, have a son, George, who is President of Insurors of Texas General Agency, Ltd., and a daughter, Felicia Goodman, who is the Executive Director of the Cooper Foundation of Waco.
Dave leads a team of people responsible for providing insurance and surety products for the commercial insurance market. Working with Insurors Indemnity Companies partners, Dave is dedicated to ensuring that underwriting standards, claims processing and commercial insurance products meet the highest standards of quality and service.
Dave joined Insurors Indemnity Companies in 2013 as President of Insurors Indemnity Underwriters and in July 2014 was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Insurors Indemnity Companies. Dave is focused on developing strong relationships with our agency partners and integrating technology to expand the tools and products available to them.
After attending Del Mar College in Corpus Christi and Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Dave joined Keetch-Tolson Insurance in south Texas. In 1994 he left the agency business to begin a career on the carrier side of the industry. Dave worked for Hochheim Prairie Insurance Companies for 19 years in a variety of management roles culminating in being appointed as President/CEO in 2010.
Dave has served on numerous civic boards and committees including the Yoakum Economic Development Corporation, Yoakum Community Hospital Foundation, Texas Association of Business and Yoakum Area Chamber of Commerce.
Dave and his wife, Christie, have three sons, Bradley who is a Senior Aerospace Engineering student at Texas A&M, Gage who is a Business Honors and Marketing graduate from Texas A&M and Mason who is a junior in high school.
Somers oversees Insurors Indemnity Companies bond department which includes both contract and commercial bonds. Somer’s team has an excellent track record of building and strengthening agent relationships to meet and exceed the high expectations of our agency partners.
Somers is a 15-year Insurors Indemnity Companies veteran having grown the bond department to three times the size it was when he arrived. Prior to coming onboard with Insurors Indemnity Companies, Somers worked as a Marketing/Finance Assistant for Distribuidora Errázuriz, S.A. in Santiago, Chile and as a Management Associate in Corporate Treasury for American International Group, Inc. in New York.
Somers holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in International Management from Thunderbird, American Graduate School of International Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and minor in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University.
Somers is married to Felicia Goodman and has two daughters Helen and Daisy.
Nancy is responsible for managing the underwriting, state filings and product development of commercial property and casualty products. The property and casualty underwriting team has had above industry standards profitability results which has allowed Insurors to offer competitive products and pricing to their agency partners. Through their partnership with independent agencies the Company has experienced consistent profitable growth.
Nancy joined Insurors Indemnity Companies in 2003 bringing 16 years of marketing and underwriting experience in the insurance industry. Immediately prior to joining Insurors, Nancy was the vice president of Marketing for American Hallmark and The Millers Group in Fort Worth, Texas. In addition, prior to joining the company side of the industry in 1987, Nancy was a successful producer in the independent agency system.
Nancy attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and has five grown children (Angie, Noel, Kathy, Jan and Brad) as well as seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. When not spending time enjoying her family, Nancy also likes to get out on the golf course and she is an avid reader.
Rhett leads the Marketing Department and is responsible for overseeing the marketing and field operations for Insurors Indemnity. In this capacity Rhett maintains a focus on strengthening relationships with the company’s independent agency partners. In addition, he directs activities related to marketing and the development of the company’s digital properties.
Rhett also leads the company’s general agency, Insurors Indemnity Underwriters (IIU) which provides additional insurance and surety products to the company’s independent agency partners.
Prior to Insurors Indemnity Companies, Rhett worked for SMI, Inc. as the International Sales Director. In this role he worked with distributors in over 60 countries as well across the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University.
Rhett previously served as the School Board President for Rapoport Academy Public School as well also serving on the boards of the Waco Cultural Arts and the Lake Brazos Rotary Club.
Michael is responsible for the operation of the claims department. He is leading the effort to set new standards of customer service by driving down the time taken to settle claims and redefine the customer experience when they have a loss.
Michael joined Insurors Indemnity Companies in 2011 from NLASCO, Inc where he served on the executive management committee as a Senior Vice President and Underwriter. While at NLASCO, Inc. he led a team that processed thousands of claims annually and worked with hundreds of independent adjusters and legal vendors.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Baylor University with a concentration in Insurance and Marketing. He also serves as a volunteer with the Waco Chamber of Commerce’s Total Resource Campaign which has raises in excess of $1 million dollars over twelve weeks for the Waco Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he is a Mentor for the Waco Chamber of Commerce’s LEAD program.
Michael and Paula have four children – Emily, Katie, Clive and Camille.
As CFO, Joe oversees the accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, internal audit, regulatory filings and tax functions at Insurors Indemnity Companies.
Joe is a 29-year Insurors Indemnity Companies veteran having joined the company in 1990. Prior to coming onboard with Insurors Indemnity Companies, Joe worked as the Controller at Dealers Electrical Supply Inc. and as an accountant for Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center. Joe was also a Sergeant E5 from 1976 to 1982 in the United States Marine Corp Reserve.
Joe has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University. He also has the following professional designations:

Joe served as a director for the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children; he is also past president of the Sunrise and Lake Brazos Rotary Club, past president of United Way, McLennan County, and has been a past director of the Midway ISD Foundation and the Waco Family YMCA. Joe has a daughter, Becky and son Jimmy.
Tammy is responsible for managing the financial, regulatory, and management reporting of the companies. Tammy is also responsible for managing the accounting and billing department for all our insurance products. In the 25 years with Insurors, Tammy has held a variety of roles within the company.
Tammy joined Insurors Indemnity Companies in 1993 bringing 8 years of accounting and finance experience in the banking industry. Immediately prior to joining Insurors, Tammy was the Trust Officer & Operations Manager for Springfield Trust Company in Springfield, Missouri.
Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting degree from Missouri Southern State University as well as an Associate degree in Accounting and business administration from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.
Tammy has two children. Tammy’s son, Teigen, is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Tammy’s daughter, Tate, is currently a junior at the University of Oklahoma and is looking forward to becoming a physical therapist in the future.
Gail joined Insurors Indemnity Companies in 2001. Due to Gail's depth of underwriting knowledge, strong agent relationships and industry experience she was promoted to P&C Underwriting Manger in 2016.
Gail attended the University of Wyoming. Prior to coming to Insurors Indemnity Companies, Gail worked in the financial industry for 12 years.
Gailis married to Jess Locker, and they have 3 grown children: Sarah, Jackie and Paige, as well as 3 grandchildren.
